The Sun is out!

The sun was shinning today!  Yay, that meant we could have the picnic Olivia has been harassing me for the past month.  It was still quite chilly out.  Especially right by the water.  Because the sun was shinning, everyone else was down at the beach too.  There were a lot of clammers out.  That was fun to watch.

Love the photo bomb from Ella.
 Oh, my girls.
Soren and Olivia always head off to their tree house.  They could play on that for hours.
There is going to be a theme in the pictures of Troy.  He act like a teenage boy in them.

Anna and Soren were trying to prove their strength.  The also do this with the 2 lb weight I have at home.  Sorry to say, but my kids are wimps. Oh, and uncoordinated.  Did I mention that too?

I'm scouring the beach for drift wood.  I'm hoping to make some driftwood christmas trees before we move.

He's trying to grab my bum.

That behind us it O' Canada.

I'm so fascinated with all the life that we find under the rocks when the tide is out.  I find it kind of funny that I love the ocean and beach, but I will never go out in the water.

Troy was standing next to me when I was looking at this crab skeleton.  Shocked him a bit by acting like I was going to bite it.  EW.  Ya, never!  I'm a no fish, meat, egg person.  EW, EW, EW.  It even had it's little eyes still in it.

Birch Bay beach is a wonderful place to come and birch watch.  Lot's of different kind of sea birds (duh).  Almost always I can watch bald eagles.

I had to get a pic of Anna in front of this sign before we left.  Anna's first tattoo is of an anchor.  Her birthmark on her face is in the shape of an anchor.  I call her anchor Annie sometimes.
It was a beautiful day to spend with my family.  As always we laugh until our sides hurt.
