I love my camera.

I love it so much that the girls do these fun photo shoots.
They pick out outfits and do the whole posing thing.  Mostly I love it because I end up with all these beautiful pictures of the girls and Little Miss Sunshine.

 OH MY GOSH!

This picture above is one of my favorites of Anna.

 Leah, your gorgeous.

The other day at the park, Troy took this photo of me.  I don't have many pictures of me because I'm usually the one behind the camera.  I was wearing Mom's turquoise jewelry.  Love wearing them.
Just this last Monday the kids got off the bus, gave me kisses, grabbed the dogs and headed home.  I grabbed this shot of them.  For some reason I fell in love with this photo. Olivia was rambling away about her day.  Soren was hightailing it to the house for food.  It captures my life.  So glad I haul my camera around with me to capture these moments.

Time for my littlest two

It seems as if there isn't enough of me to go around.  Every Mother knows how hard it is to give each child individual attention.  Well, my two youngest were feeling a little left out by all the dances, birthdays and grown up stuff going on.  Troy and I grabbed some Subway and headed to a wonderful little park with Soren and Olivia.  We ended up eating standing up because everything was soaking wet.  Shocking, isn't it?
The kids took of to play which left me to stand around and get sad about how big they were.  I wasn't sad for long because I spotted a little 1 year old trying to get around and instantly fell in love with him.  Then I remembered that Soren and Olivia were just like that and got all weepy.  Once I started to cry, I wanted to talk to my Mom which made me cry harder.  All the while Troy was standing there acting like he didn't know me.
One of these days I will come to terms with the fact that children grow up.
That my Mom is gone.
That I look like a crazed woman when I spy little babies and I've got to stop stalking them.
I'm really lucky that I have the best husband who comforts me and makes me laugh when I get all weepy.

Homecoming 2013

Mariah and Anna both think they are so funny.  They had this plan to walk out with these dresses on when their homecoming dates came to pick them up.
Didn't work out that way.  They had them on over their homecoming dresses, but they were laughing to hard at themselves for it to be funny.  They just looked like two hysterical teenagers.
They look like that all the time!
This was Anna's attempt at Asian eyes. They are both such beautiful girls!

Anna wore her converse because....well, she's Anna!  Look at those legs!  Grace is not her middle name.  It was much safer for all those going to homecoming for Anna to wear tennis shoes.
Right after I took this photo, she stepped in a hole and tripped.  She pulled an Emily.
The Dunow girls.
(Mariah is an honorary Dunow)

 Cole and Mariah

 Anna's date Kyle.
The boys brought them flowers for their hair because the girls say they are princesses.
Princesses who wear tennis shoes and can burp like the burliest of sailors.

One more event in my life making me aware of how fast my kids are growing up.

I live for this

My whole life, Autumn has been my favorite season.
The colors and smells.
The cool crisp air.
Watching nature getting ready for winter.
The harvesting.
I have loved being here during the fall season.  Every day I wake up to the fog hanging low over the ground smelling of the ocean.  Everything covered in droplets of water from the moisture in the air.  The kids and I have joked that you can take a drink by just breathing in the morning.

I was able to use a lot of the fruits from the trees we have but this tree was very wormy.  I hated seeing all those apples go to waste.  The deer love to come eat them though.

I love to walk through the little forest with our dogs and cats.  Yes, I said cats.  If they are outside they will follow me into the woods and walk with me.  The love climbing the trees.  Elliot came with me this day that I went looking to take pictures of mushrooms.  They are all over the forest floor right now.

We are so lucky to have this good looking guy.  Aside from having a bad habit of digging, he's the sweetest thing.  He loves being outside with me.

I still haven't found out what this is.
I just wanted to share a little bit of my love for fall with you all.

Weebs

This is our new little guy Weebs.  It took us a while to finalize his name.  A friend of a friend found a litter of kittens in an old abandon truck.  She was trying to find homes for them.  Our little Weebs had a tool box fall on him when he was a few weeks old and his back legs must of been broken.  When we got him he was weak and not doing very well.  His back legs would drag and he could barely walk.  In my mind, I didn't think he would make it.

With LOT'S of love, food and meds, he is a strong little kitten.
He will always have a funny gait when he walks but that doesn't stop him from running, jumping, climbing and playing.  Within a couple weeks of having him he was able to climb up on the couch by himself.  It chokes me up how proud of him I am.  I can see how hard he works at things.

Ted Wait For It, finally accepted him as his friend and the love to play together now.  Poppy could care less.  Big surprise there!
