Photo taking, prancer-sizing Momma

 I took some pics of Anna and Ella the other day and this is what I have finished so far.  Two.  Just two.  This is what happens when I try to rush.  All the photo's were to dark.  Hopefully I can fix some.

 This is what happens when the older girls are walking out the door to go somewhere and I yell at them to stop so I can take some pics.

 And she stabs herself in the eye.

Side Note-

Anna and Ella have extremely long legs.  I however do not.  When every I go anywhere with them I am always in a quick trot to keep up with them

Speed walking.

Prancer-sizing.

I would do a fast skip, but that would make Anna Jealous. (She can't skip)  

It's somewhat exhausting.  I just have Troy take them everywhere and they could all take giant steps together.

Just for them.

 Miss Muffet loves to have her pictures taken.  She's always seeing the big girls doing their photo shoot thing and wants to get involved too.  So I let her get all dolled up and I had a "photo shoot" for her.  Can we tell she loves to pose for the camera?  

 I think her new short hair cut is so cute on her but I miss her long hair.

 Of course Soren had to get involved.  He even combed his hair all by himself.  

Hey, I'm slowly cutting the cord here!

 As he was doing all this we decided that he needed to learn how to do that new Parkuor pogo stick thing.

Can you imagine one of the Dunows doing that?  

Or even doing parkour?  We would all need to sign up with Afflack first.

I was able to take a few minutes and play with my kids.  Capture a few moments of who they are.

And laugh....

A lot.

Rain and fireworks

The kids all get so excited about fireworks still.  I think it's because they get to light fire to things and blow them up.

As always, we have extra's at our house.

As always, it's raining in Washington.

The kids took cover while they lit a few early fireworks.  They just couldn't wait to blow something up.

 Mariah intuitively knows when a camera is pointing toward her.  She goes right into this pose.

 Olivia breaks into a Frozen song and dance.

This little Emily would freak out every time there was a pop or boom.  I had the funnest time watching her.

 The rain took a break and kids jumped into the pool then decided to all dress up like Hobo's.

 All I could think of when I saw them doing this was DUHR....

 I think Mariah is stuck in that pose.

As always we had a good time.  Kids enjoyed themselves and it was nice to climb into bed and go to sleep.

Flowers make it tolerable

Autumn will always be my favorite season.

The flowers of summer make summer bearable.  I'm not a heat person.  I love to wear layers, cardigans, cozy socks, boots and scarves.  

The flowers that are blooming this year in my yard make the t-shirts and skirts ok.

Counting down the days until the orange starts to appear.
